  • Q: Do you work in the rain?
  • A: Yes! Our mobile service operates rain or shine, and our trucks are fully equipped to perform most repairs in various weather conditions. For the safety of our technicians and customers, service may be postponed during severe weather such as lightning, tropical storms, high winds, or other dangerous conditions.


  • Q: What services do you not offer?
  • A: While C&M Mobile Automotive Repairs is one of the most equipped mobile repair facilities on wheels, we do not perform body work, paint work, or frame repair. However, we are happy to refer customers to trusted professionals for these services.


  • Q: What are your operating hours?
  • A: We operate Monday through Saturday from 8:00 AM to 9:00 PM by appointment only.
    We are closed on Sundays.


  • Q: Do you offer roadside assistance?
  • A: At this time, we do not offer immediate roadside assistance or emergency dispatch services. All services are performed by scheduled appointment only.


  • Q: What is your labor rate?
  • A: Our labor rate is $125 per hour, which is often significantly more affordable than many large chain repair facilities that can charge $180+ per hour.


  • Q: Do you provide a warranty if I have a repair completed with you?
  • A: Yes! When C&M supplies the parts, repairs are covered by a 12-month / 12,000-mile warranty (whichever comes first) on both parts and labor.
  • Please note:
  • • We do not install customer-supplied parts
    • Warranty terms may vary for batteries, tires, and brake components
  • Please call for full warranty details.


  • Q: How far do you service? Do you only serve Charlotte?
  • A: We service areas within approximately a 20-mile radius of Charlotte, North Carolina.
  • Due to insurance and regulatory restrictions, we do not service South Carolina.
  • The Charlotte Region covers 15 counties in North Carolina, and service areas may change depending on state regulations. Please call to confirm if your location falls within our service area.


  • Q: Is there a trip fee or mileage fee?
  • A: No. We do not charge a trip or mileage fee.
  • However, a $150 diagnostic fee is due upon vehicle inspection.
  • If you choose to complete the repair with us:
  • • $50 of the diagnostic fee will be credited toward the repair
  • Please note:
  • • Credit applies to the same vehicle only
    • C&M must supply the parts
    • Diagnostic fees are non-refundable
    • Terms and conditions may apply

  • Q: Do you offer alignments?
  • A: Yes. C&M Mobile Automotive Repairs is proud to be one of the only mobile automotive service providers on the East Coast offering true mobile alignment services for both cars and trucks.


  • Q: Do you mount tires?
  • A: Yes. Our service trucks are equipped with professional tire mounting and high-speed balancing equipment capable of servicing wheels up to 26 inches in diameter.


  • Q: Does an oil change include anything beyond changing the oil and filter?
  • A: Yes. In addition to replacing the oil and filter, our oil change service also includes:
  • • Fluid level top-offs
    • Tire pressure check and adjustment
    • A complimentary 50-point safety inspection
  • This inspection helps identify potential issues before they become costly repairs.


  • Q: Is tire rotation included with an oil change?
  • A: Yes! We offer a free tire rotation with any oil change service upon request. This service is not automatically added, as some customers may already receive free tire rotations from the tire shop or retailer where their tires were originally purchased.
  • Please note this offer does not apply to lifted trucks or lowered vehicles.


  • Q: What is the markup on the parts you sell?
  • A: We strive to keep pricing fair and transparent. Our parts are provided at competitive and often discounted pricing, and they include warranty coverage when supplied by C&M.
  • Many customers find our pricing comparable to or better than purchasing the parts themselves.


  • Q: What forms of payment do you accept?
  • A: C&M Mobile Automotive Repairs operates as a cashless business. We accept the following electronic payment methods:
  • • Credit Cards
    • Debit Cards
    • CashApp
    • Venmo
  • A 3.75% processing fee applies to all payments and will be added at the time of sale. This fee will be listed under “Shop Supplies” and cannot be removed under any circumstances.


  • Q: Do you handle fleet accounts?
  • A: Yes. C&M Mobile Automotive Repairs is fully equipped to service and maintain fleets of any size, helping businesses reduce downtime by performing repairs directly at their location.


  • Q: If I call today, can you come the same day?
  • A: We operate by appointment only. If we have an open slot available, we will do our best to accommodate same-day service.
  • However, we are often booked 2–3 days in advance. Our team will work with you to schedule the earliest available appointment.


  • Q: Are your technicians certified and qualified to work on my car?
  • A: Yes. Our technicians are ASE Master Certified and participate in ongoing training throughout the year to stay current with the latest automotive technology.
  • Customers are welcome to request to see technician certifications during their appointment.


  • Q: Do you offer A/C repair services?
  • A: Absolutely. Our service trucks are equipped with professional A/C service machines for both R-134a and R-1234yf refrigerant systems, allowing us to diagnose and repair most automotive air conditioning systems directly at your location.


  • Q: Do I need to be present during the repair?
  • A: Yes. A customer or authorized representative must be present at the beginning of the appointment to sign the required service paperwork. This is a non-negotiable policy.
  • Once the paperwork has been completed and the technician has access to the vehicle and keys if necessary, you are not required to remain with the vehicle for the entire repair. Our team will keep you informed throughout the service process.

  • A: We service most cars, trucks, SUVs, and fleet vehicles, including both domestic and many foreign makes. Due to insurance regulations, we are unable to service vehicles older than model year 2000.
