Q- Do you work in the rain?
A- Yes, rain or shine we come to you! We are fully equipped and ready to serve you. (This does not apply for a tropical storm, lightning, wind or severe weather.)
Q- What do you not do?
A- At C&M we pride ourselves in being one of the most equipped mobile repair facilities on wheels. With this being said, Body work and frame repair are not our specialty, But we can refer you to someone to get that fixed.
Q- What are the hours?
A- Monday-Saturday from 8am-9pm by appointment only. Closed Sundays.
Q- Do you do roadside assistance?
A- No, unfortunately we do not offer immediate road side assistance at this time.
Q- What's your labor rate?
A- $125 an hour, unlike the big chain stores that can sometimes be upwards of $180+ an hour.
Q- Do you carry a warranty if I have a repair completed with you?
A- Yes! If we provide the parts the warranty is 12 months or 12,000 miles (whichever comes first) for parts and labor. WE DO NOT INSTALL CUSTOMER SUPPLIED PARTS! (Warranty varies with batteries and tires, and brakes call for more details)
Q- How Far do you go? Or do you just service Charlotte?
A- We service 20-miles outside of the center city of Charlotte, NC. Unfortunately we do not service South Carolina Due to Insurance and state regulations. The Charlotte Region is fortunate to have 15-counties. With that being said, North Carolina counties are subject to change due to laws and regulations. Call to see if we service the county you live in.
Q- Is there a trip fee, or mileage fee?
A- Neither at C&M a $150.00 diagnostic fee is due upon diagnostic of the vehicle, as long as you have the repairs completed with us we apply $50.00 towards the repair. ($50.00 can only be applied to the same vehicle, also $50.00 can only be applied if we supply the parts no refunds on diagnostic fees.) Call for more details, Terms and conditions may apply.
Q- Do you do alignments?
A- Yes, we are proud to say we are one of the only mobile shops on the east coast that offer a true mobile alignment on cars and trucks.
Q- Do you mount tires?
A- Yes we have the latest tire equipment on our trucks, we can mount and high speed balance tires up to 26" in size.
Q- If I want an oil change is all you do is change the oil and filter?
A- No, we will change the oil and filter, top off all necessary fluids check and set tire pressure and complete a 50-point safety inspection free of charge.
Q- Does a tire rotation cost extra if I'm getting an oil change?
A- No, we offer a free tire rotation with any oil change service. (This does not apply to lifted trucks or lowered vehicles)
Q- What's the markup of the parts you sell?
A- None, we sell you parts at a discounted price to ensure we get you the best price possible! You will not pay more than you would if you bought your own parts, our parts just come with a warranty.
Q- What forms of payment do you accept?
A- Money Order, Certified Checks, Cashapp, Venmo and Credit Cards. (All payments are subject to a 3.75% processing fee. And will be applied at time of sale.
Q- Do you do fleet accounts?
A- Yes, we are fully equipped and repair any fleet of any size!
Q- If I call today can you come same day?
A- As we are appointment based if we have an open appointment time for the same day as you have requested then yes! Unfortunately it doesn't always work out this way, sometimes we are booked out for 2-3 days at a time but with cancelations and schedule changes we can always work to get as close to the requested time as possible.
Q- Are the technicians certified and qualified to work on my car?
A- Yes all of our technicians are ASE Master Certified. Our technicians also attend school throughout the year to keep up with the latest technology on today's vehicles. Ask to see your technicians certifications when they are at the appointment!
Q- Can you do A/C repairs?
A- Yes! We have the equipment for this. Our trucks are equipped with R-134a(A) and R-1234yf A/C machines.
